THE DATABASES OF THE ALBERTINA
Picture Database
The Picture Database of the Albertina was set up by order of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Culture
and is constantly being upgraded.
It currently comprises some 5,000 main works of the Graphic Art Collection, around 4,200 objects of the Photographic Collection
and around 8,700 objects of the Architectural Collection. The historic holdings of the Poster Collection (14,600 objects)
were made available online in their entirety.

Biobibliography on photography in Austria
This database contains biographical and bibliographical data relating to persons, institutions and companies who were or are,
at least temporarily, active within the geographic confines of today’s Austria, engaging or having engaged in photography.
