CARS presents works from the Daimler Collection, by artists Andy Warhol, Robert Longo, Sylvie Fleury, and Vincent Szarek. Common to all of the works is their examination of the history, the types, or the design of the Mercedes-Benz car.

Archduke Ferdinand of Austria, commissioned the leading watercolourists of his day to create a “picture book” of the major towns and most scenic regions in the Austrian Empire and neighbouring lands. The Albertina owns 226 of the more than 300 large, the finest of which are by Jakob and Rudolf von Alt.
