Bastion Terrace

As a romantic prelude to your event, invite your guests for aperitifs on the outdoor terrace of the Augustinian bastion. The ALBERTINA Museum's terrace is an unparalleled location for a reception on a summer evening or a round of Punsch in winter.

Elevated above street level and dominated by the equestrian statue of Archduke Albrecht, the terrace offers a spectacular view of the Vienna State Opera, the Burggarten park and the Hofburg palace. This is one of the most beautiful spots in Vienna’s historic center, and particularly popular with international visitors.

If the weather fails to cooperate, your terrace event can be switched to the Harriet Hartmann Court or the State Rooms. Capacity is therefore limited to 350 people.
