Middle School | Albrecht Dürer

For teenagers from 10 to 14 years

Albrecht Dürer is one of the best-known artists, and many of his works are world-famous! His graphic works are very sensitive to light and can be exhibited only every 10 years. But in this Dürer exhibition, which is the largest ever put on, we’ll be showing all of the originals: the Hare, the Large Piece of Turf, the Praying Hands, and many more works. In an age-appropriate participatory tour, school students will get to know the life and works of this unique genius.

In the 30-minute workshop, they’ll draw a “knot” picture, a graphic work modeled after similar works by Dürer that creatively employs lines and space.
