Black White & Grey

Until 21 February 2021

In this exhibition, the ALBERTINA Museum presents large-format works from its own collection. Whether using pencil, ink, chalk, wire, or the moving image—here, drawing expands familiar dimensions by far.
As different as the approaches pursued by the featured artists and as varied their themes may be, what they all share is that they create colorful, manifold worlds solely with contrasts of light and dark.

Featured artists:
Eduard Angeli I Jim Dine I Sonja Gangl I Hauenschild Ritter I William Kentridge I Birgit Knoechl I Ulrike Lienbacher I Robert Longo I Alois Mosbacher I Muntean/Rosenblum I Florentina Pakosta I Fritz Panzer I Ugo Rondinone I Max Weiler I Rainer Wölzl

The exhibition is on view from 7 December 2020 until 21 February 2021.
